What does
CellClients.com do?
CellClients aims to help its customers
get out of cell phone contracts
without paying large cancellation
fees. Get-Out customers post a
complete description of their plan
on our site and individuals
interested in taking over contracts
search through the site’s list of
available plans in order to pick the
one that suits them the most and
take over the contract. CellClients
also provides unlocked GSM and CDMA
phones and accessories from its
online store
What is a
plan’s wireless cancellation fee?
Most wireless companies use the
following cancellation policy: $20
times the number of remaining
months. However, the minimum
cancellation fee is usually $100 and
the maximum cancellation fee could
be as high as $720 ($20 times 36
months). To know the exact amount of
cancellation fee for your contract,
please contact your service
provider
What is the
wireless contract ownership transfer
fee?
The following table summarizes the
ownership transfer fee of the four
major wireless providers. If you
have a different wireless provider,
please contact them directly and ask
them

Rogers |

How long
does it take to transfer the
contract?
It usually takes less than 15
minutes to complete the whole
process over the phone. The length
of time might vary depending on the
wireless provider’s customer service
quality. In rare cases, your
provider might require you to
complete the process by signing some
papers and returning them to the
provider. In this case, the process
could take 1 to 2 weeks
Do the two
ends of the contract transfer need
to meet before the transfer of the
contract?
Not at all! The two ends of the
contract transfer could be located
in two different parts of the
country and yet, completing the
transfer process can be done over
the phone. You just need to discuss
the terms with the new subscribers
and then contact the wireless
provider to complete the process
What if
there is a balance on the account
during the contract transfer? Who is
responsible for the balance?
Once the transfer is completed, the
wireless provider contacts the
original subscriber to clear out the
balance until the day of the
transfer. The new subscriber is in
no way responsible for any unpaid
fees from the original subscriber.
The new subscriber has a different
account and his/her balance is set
to $0.00. The new subscriber will
only have to pay for usage of the
plan starting the day of the
transfer. To confirm that this
policy is still used in your
provider, please contact them and
verify this
Who is responsible for the shipping cost of the cell phone handset?
It is the responsibility of the Get-Out Customer to pay for the cell phone handset shipping costs and to ship the cell phone handset
What are the risks associated with using your services?
There are no risks. You get out of or take over the cell phone contract through the wireless provider and not us. Our job is to match those who want to exit their contracts with people looking to take one over. After the plan seller and buyer agree on the transfer terms, they must contact the provider to proceed with the transfer.
What if the
contract transfer happens in the
middle of the original subscriber’s
billing cycle?
Once the new subscriber takes over
the contract, the wireless provider
calculates the number of minutes
left for the present billing cycle
based on the plan’s original
minutes. For example, if the plan
offers 100 day time minutes and
there are 10 days left until the end
of the billing cycle, the new
subscriber gets only 33 minutes
-(100minutes/ 30days) times the
number of days for the remaining
days of the cycle. If the original
subscriber used more than 66 minutes
during the first 20 days of the
cycle, he/she will be charged for
any extra minutes. To confirm that
this policy is still used in your
provider, please contact them and
verify this
Who pays
for the transfer fee (if there is
any) to the wireless provider?
It is recommended that the Get-Out
customer pay for the transfer fee in
order to make his/her plan
comparable to the plans offered by
providers that don’t charge any
transfer fees. The transfer fee is
somewhere in the range of $0 to $25
depending on the provider
Why would
someone like to take over a cell
phone contract?
Taking over a cell phone contract is
a very suitable option for many
individuals who don’t like to commit
to long term contracts but would
like to pay a minimum fee for the
service activation, SIM card, and
handset. Taking over a contract does
not require any activation fee and
the SIM card is usually given to the
new subscriber by the Get-Out
customer for free. If the handset is
also transferred during the contract
transfer, the Take-Over customer
pays less than the handset retail
price since he/she is purchasing a
second hand one
Why would
someone want to get out of her/his
wireless contract?
There are many reasons: Traveling,
weak reception in one area of a
country and interest in purchasing a
brand new cell phone
Why are
wireless providers happy to transfer
contract ownership?
It’s very simple: An unhappy
customer is replaced by a happy
customer. Your service provider does
not like to charge you a large
cancellation fee because that
discourages you from using their
service in the future. CellClients
service gives the provider the
opportunity to replace its unhappy
client with a happy client without
altering company income. In
addition, it was the job of the
Get-Out customer to go and find a
new customer for the provider and
the provider did not have to spend
money to market and advertise its
plans and take on a new customer
What is the Secure Transfer service?
The Secure Transfer service guarantees that the buyer will receive the phone and the cash incentive after taking over the contract. CellClients will send a brand new phone to the buyer if the buyer does not receive the phone in less than 10 business days. The Secure Transfer™ process consists of three simple steps:
1) The seller pays the cash incentive to CellClients
2) The two parties contact the cell phone provider to proceed with the transfer of responsibility
3) The seller ships the phone to the buyer and CellClients mails the cash incentive to the buyer. If the buyer does not receive the phone in less than 10 days, CellClients will send a brand new phone to the buyer.
There is a $14.90 service fee paid by the seller to use this service.

to get rid of their contracts within

your chances of getting rid of a
contract quickly
What
happens after I find somebody who is
interested in taking over my
contract?
After you find an individual who
would like to take over your
contract, contact your wireless
provider and tell them there is an
individual interested in taking over
your contract. They will usually ask
for the new person’s first name,
last name and date of birth, and
they will then ask you to tell the
new person to contact the wireless
provider. Then the new subscriber
has to contact the wireless
provider, provide her/his
information for a credit check and
complete the transfer process
Do I have any liability or responsibility to
my wireless provider after the
contract transfer?
Absolutely NOT! Once the transfer is
complete, the wireless provider will
completely close your account and
you are in no way responsible for
the account anymore! You become
completely contract free
How can I
increase my chances of finding an
interested party to take over my
contract immediately?
Offering incentives definitely
helps. Also, offering your handset
to the new subscriber for free helps
you find an interested individual
sooner
What If the
Take-over customer is not in my city
or town?
Not a problem at all! The plan
transfer is done over the phone and
does not require the two parties in
the contract transfer to be in the
same city
What do I
do after I find a contact I am
interested in taking over?
Simply ask the original subscriber
to contact his/her wireless provider
and inform them you are interested
in taking over the contract. Then
you need to call the provider and
give them information needed to
complete the transfer process
I want to
get out of my contract. What do I do
now?
Simply go to the Get-Out section of
our site. Enter information
regarding your plan description,
publish your ad and wait for
somebody to take over your contract
How
can CellClients help me get out of my
cell phone contract without paying
any cancellation fees?
CellClients will help you find an individual who would like to take over
your contract. The only step
remaining in order to get out of
your contract after that is to
contact your service provider to
inform them of your intentions of
transferring the ownership of the
contract to another party
What is my plan's Monthly Charge?
It's the cell phone plan's monthly service charge before System Access Fee, 911 Fee, Extra Features fees, and Taxes
How do I know the messages sent to me are serious inquiries?
CellClients has a very secure message sender tracking system which reviews each message name, sender's email address, phone number, and IP address before delivering it to the plan seller, making sure that all the messages are serious inquiries by plan sellers.
How many potential buyers do I usually need to talk to before I reach an agreement?
On average, it takes conversing with 1 to 2 different potential buyers to find the right match for a cell phone contract. However, it is important that the seller responds back to a potential buyer’s inquiry soon after the buyer shows interest by messaging the plan seller. Otherwise, the buyer will be disappointed and move on to other cell phone plans posted on our site.
Can I
edit my posting?
Absolutely! Simply Login to your account, edit your plan description,
and re-post your plan.
How
long will my plan be posted on
CellClients.com?
Your plan will be posted on our site for three months
What are the fees associated with using this website?
We charge $19.90 to post your ad on our site. We guarantee that your contract will be transferred within 30 days of posting the ad. If your contract is not transferred within 30 days, we will refund your money and credit your credit card immediately. Please note that if you decide to cancel your contract during the 30 days, or if you reject a buyer's offer to take over your contract before or while we review your refund request, no refund will be issued.
How do I request a refund if my contract was not transferred within 30 days of posting the ad?
Unsuccessful plan sellers may contact us 30 days after posting their ad to request a full refund. To request a refund, please email/ fax your last invoice which proves that you are still the owner of the contract. After checking with the parties interested in your contract and confirming that noone has taken over your contract, we will refund your money to your credit card. If you decide to cancel your contract during the 30 day period, or if you decide to hold on to your contract, no refund will be issued. We will also contact your wireless provider to confirm that the cell phone contract is still under your name.
What if I want to get out of my cell phone contract without giving up the phone?
No problem. You can take two different approaches:
1) If you are with Rogers / Fido (GSM providers), you can buy one of our low price phones- We sell brand new phones for as low as $99- and offer your contract with the brand new phone. Please note that if you buy a cell phone from our online store, you will receive unlimited access to your account’s mailbox for free ($19.90 value).
2) Another approach is to offer a large cash incentive to the plan buyer. Please note that without offering a large cash incentive, it will be difficult for you to compete with other plan sellers who are offering their phones for free.
How is the payment done?
By credit card using the secure system PayPal.
All our credit card payments are processed by PayPal. Over 100 million people in more then 100 countries use PayPal to make payments in the internet. CellClients chose PayPal for the ease of use and security that the largest and most popular site for online payments can offer to our users.

What are the benefits to taking over a short term cell phone contract?
You receive a free phone and take advantage of the benefits of a cell phone contract without being trapped in a contract for too long. After the contract is expired, you can either renew your contract with the same plan description or stay on a monthly basis.
What are the benefits to taking over a long term cell phone contract?
Not only that you receive a free phone, you often receive lots of cash incentive (could go up to $200) from the plan seller. Although you are now in a contract for a longer time but you can always get out of your contract again in future by transferring it to someone else. In other words, you can take more advantage of the benefits of taking over a contract (more cash incentive) and yet, get rid of it in the future without paying any cancellation fees.
Can I
change the phone number once the
plan ownership is transferred?
Yes you can. This option is specially always
needed when the two ends of the
contract transfer are located in two
different parts of Canada
What If the
Get-Out customer is not in my city
or town?
Not a problem at all! The plan
transfer is done over the phone and
does not require the two parties in
the contract transfer to be in the
same city
What if the
person offering his cell phone
contract doesn’t want to sell his
cell phone?
Not a problem! You can still take
over his cell phone contract. If you
need to purchase a handset, you can
also visit our phone store and
purchase your favorite handset. Take
note: CellClients.com offers all its
handsets unlocked at no extra cost!
I sent a message to one of your selling clients but I did not receive any responses. Why?
Some of our clients receive too many messages from people interested in their contracts, and therefore do not respond to every message. To increase your chances of finding a contract that meets your needs, we suggest that you contact more than one plan owner and focus on the latest plans posted on our website.
How do
I find a new cell phone plan with a
short-term contract?
Simply go to the Take-Over section and search through our list of
available plans. Once you find a
plan that interests you, get in
touch with the plan owner to
complete the transfer process
Are
there any fees for the Take-Over
customer?
Not at all! The service is free for Take-Over customers. In fact, you
don’t even need to have an account
with us to take over a contract.
Simply search through the plans
posted on our site and take over the
one that you like the most
Can I keep
my phone number if I'm taking over a
contract?
Yes you can. In order to
make sure your phone number is not
released, let your current provider know that you'd
like to transfer the number to a
different provider before leaving your current plan and taking over a
new contract
How do I receive the cash incentive from the seller?
A simple solution would be to ask the seller to deposit the cash incentive on the cell phone plan’s account after clearing the plan’s balance. In other words, when you take over a contract, the plan will have an outstanding credit equal to the value of the cash incentive offered by the seller.
Another option is to ask the seller to include the cash incentive in the phone package that’s shipped to the buyer.
What if I
don’t have a great credit history?
Usually, credit history is not an
issue. Service providers seem to be
more flexible when it comes to an
individual who would like to take
over their customer’s plan. In
addition, there is an option to pay
a deposit to the wireless provider
in the case of a bad credit history.
What’s the
difference between CellClients’s handset
prices and those of wireless providers?
On average, for the same model and
brand, if you purchase your handset
through CellClients, you pay 20% less
than what you would pay if you
bought your handset from a wireless
provider. CellClients phones are also
unlocked ($50 value) for free and
can work with any wireless provider
as long as the technologies match (GSM
handset for GSM wireless provider
and CDMA handset for CDMA wireless
providers)
What’s the
difference between locked and
unlocked phones?
Locked phones only support one
wireless provider network. Unlocked
phones can operate under any
wireless provider as long as the
technology is the same. So for
example, if you purchase an unlocked
GSM phone, you can use it with Fido,
Rogers and other GSM service
providers. If you own an unlocked
CDMA phone, you can use it with
Bell, Telus, Clearnet, and other
CDMA service providers
How much
does it cost to unlock a phone?
If you purchase your handset from
CellClients.com, it costs you nothing.
Compare this with phone stores
prices for unlocking a handset,
ranging from $20- $100.
