| Cellclients is firmly committed to enabling environmental sustainability. As such, CellClients has developed an exciting new initiative in conjunction with Charitable Recycling. Cellclients.com patrons can now directly send their used or malfunctioning handsets to Charitable Recycling by simply indicating that they subscribe to Cellclients.com services. For every handset returned, Charitable Recycling will donate a sum associated with the value of the used handsets directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Bijan Shahrokhi, president of Cellclients.com, noted: "We've been frequently asked by our clients to help them get rid of their handsets in a safe and sustainable way. So we produced a twofold solution that will have a meaningful impact on the environment through the recycling and re-use of phones, while lending a hand to the thousands of Canadians living with the difficulties associated with Diabetes."
In addition, Charitable Recycling sends refurbished handsets to developing countries and remote areas of Canada where phones are desperately needed for safety and communication. As Mr. Shahrokhi pointed out, "We connect hundreds of people from across the country everyday and recognize that this provides a great opportunity for creating public awareness about important global and social issues on a national scale. We recognize that a client who is happy and receives quality service with minimal difficulty will be more open to learning about others and the importance of charity."
If you wish to donate your used or malfunctioning handset to Charitable Recycling, please visit http://www.charitablerecycling.ca for further instructions. Remember to indicate on the shipping package containing the phone that you are a Cellclients.com patron, so that your contribution will be directed to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
